Accounts

FreeWoodChips.ca stores your name, email, and encrypted password (or Google / X identity) so you can list, claim, and rate dumps. Email sign-up must be confirmed before those actions. We do not sell your list to marketers. Listing city and dump notes are visible to signed-in users so crews can find a drop. The exact street address, phone, and driveway pin stay hidden until a crew claims that listing. Only the host and the claiming crew then see them. Phone numbers and emails typed into public notes are hidden from other users until a claim. A crew can show their own live pin on the map. That GPS stays on their phone and is not uploaded or shown to anyone else. We email your account address when a crew claims your dump and when it is marked complete. We only text a number you gave us, and only through a paid SMS account if one is configured.

Agreements

To open an account you must accept the membership terms, including indemnification and force majeure. We store that signed version with your typed name, email, role, and the time, and email the membership PDF to freewoodchips@gmail.com.

What we keep

• Account email and name.
• Dump-site pins, notes, and ratings tied to your account.
• Signed membership terms (PDF source text), with a copy emailed to freewoodchips@gmail.com.
• You can ask to close a listing or delete an account. Legal records may be kept as required.

FreeWoodChips.ca is not for anyone under 18.
